Prague
International Airport Ruzyne is an public
civilian airport located on the northwest edge of
Prague. To the city centre it is about 16km/ 10
miles. It takes approximately 30 minutes to reach
the center by car and about 45 minutes on public
transport (bus and subway). All international
flights to Prague arrives here. After new Terminal 2
was built airport become probably the biggest
airport in the Czech Republic and in Central and
Eastern Europe as a whole. In last five years
airport Prague double the number of passengers it
served compare to previous years. Around fifty
flight carriers who operate direct connections,
scheduled and occasional connections to 103
destinations around the world making this airport
one of the most important hub in central Europe.
Also Airport Prague ranks one of the Top 20 biggest
European airports. Airport offers all modern
facilities and shops to served highest demands
including VIP clients.

The customs takes you to the exits right and left
but, you end up on the same concourse. The phone
rental, bus/coach transport and accommodation desks
are to the right. If you are using public transport,
it's worth going to the DPP desk (third desk from
the left) to get info on bus timetables, free maps
and other useful info (Mon-Sun 0700 to 2200). You
can also buy the transport tickets at this desk. If
there is a long queue, look behind the stairs and
you'll see the "Cedok" desk, this also sells
transport tickets. The restaurant, bar and departure
area is to your left. For money look for ATMs
located just next to the gate exits.
Cars are no longer allowed to park directly outside
Prague airport for more than 15 minutes and must use
one of the car parks if staying longer. The speed
limit close to the Prague airport is reduced to
40km.
